Here is a step-by-step look at the architectural change request process. This is the new process as of March 1st, 2020. The change in process is a reflection of our switch to using Tidewater Property Management. So here is how the system works.
- Log into the Tidewater website by clicking here. You may also access the website by clicking on the “Tidewater Portal” menu item on any of our pages.
- You will see a pop up that will instruct you where to find the Architectural Change Request. To be clear, here they are:
-
- Select “Community Information” on the left hand side of the screen
- Within that category select “Property Information”
- In the middle of the screen, a box will appear that says “Architectural information”
- The application will show up for you to select.
-
- Fill out the application, and send it to Tidewater by clicking here (cfrost@tidewaterproperty.com)
- Tidewater will send the document to our Board for review.
- The Board, working with the Architectural Control Committee will review application. This may include soliciting input from your neighbors. This may take up to 30 days to complete.
- Once the Board and ACC have either approved or denied the request, the request, along with the approval or denial rationale is sent back to Tidewater for entry into their association management system.
- Tidewater will then notify you of the status of your request, along with any explanation needed in the case of a denial. In the case of a denial, once you have corrected the deficiency (missing paperwork for example), you may resubmit your request.
