Evening of Music

October 4, 2020 @ 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic and the corresponding measures in place by Governor Hogan and County Executive Pittman, we do not anticipate that the FCF children’s Halloween party, nor the Holiday party for adults will occur. In lieu of those activities, we thought it would be nice to offer an outside event during good weather that complies with current regulations. The event will comply with all established guidelines of social-distancing and mask use, and attendance requires completion of a waiver. Guidance from the Anne Arundel Executive WebSite is printed below. Please be advised that this event is subject to change if the State of Maryland or Anne Arundel County modify applicable restrictions.

Join some of your neighbors in the clubhouse parking lot for some socially distanced outdoor music. Pressing Strings, the Naptown native band whose music has been called “heartfelt yet funky and feel-good,” will be providing the entertainment.

On Sunday, October 4, 5:00 – 7:00 p.m., Pressing Strings will perform on the upper deck of the clubhouse.  Neighbors are invited to bring their own chairs and enjoy the event in a designated, socially-distanced area that will be marked off in the parking lot. Children are welcome. Due to spacing needs to keep this event compliant and safe, only 50 residents will be admittedYou must RSVP to attend the event.  Send to boardmal@fishingcreekfarm.org

This event is free! You may begin arriving at 4:30 p.m. Only RSVPs will be admitted. Anyone over the age of 18, must sign a waiver.

Safety Measures and Waivers – We ask all those in attendance to help ensure that we can keep this event safe. Strict compliance with safety protocols will be required. Circles will be “chalked-off” in the parking lot and families are asked to remain in within their circle. Masks are required to be worn as you enter, leave, and move about the event area. Once you are seated, masks will be required if you cannot keep 6 feet away from others who are not in your immediate household. We will have the lower level bathrooms open for use; however, only one patron at a time will be admitted – children can be admitted with a parent, and masks are required to be worn when walking to and from the restrooms and while using them. All attendees over the age of 18 must sign a waiver to bring to the event acknowledging the COVID-19 risk.  Once you RSVP, a waiver will be sent to you.

Marina and Boat Ramp Access – The section of the parking lot that provides access to the boat ramp will be kept clear.  We ask that anyone parking in the general area of the parking lot between the boat ramp and the marina gate move their vehicle by 4 p.m. because we will be marking socially-distanced spaces.
