The Shoreline Erosion Control District (SECD) Task Force will meet virtually on Tuesday, August 11^th at 1:30 PM. Our August 6 meeting was adjourned for lack of a quorum. Our attorney will meet with us to discuss the process of setting up a petition. We will also discuss next steps towards presenting it to the FCF community through a comprehensive communication strategy. A memo sent by the lawyer ahead of the meeting can be accessed HERE.

We will also review, for approval, a draft petition for a Shoreline Erosion Control District (SECD) to go to the County staff for initial review. That draft will be on our FCF portal by Aug. 11^th for review.  If a draft passes in this SECD Task Force meeting, then it will then go to the FCF board for discussion and potential approval at the Aug. 17^th board meeting.
